Quilt Doodle Designs started as a few sketches in a notebook of ideas
thought up by me one afternoon while my son was home sick from school.
With the encouragement of husband, family and friends these ideas have
been turned into a line of quilt patterns that can be enjoyed by both
beginner and experienced quilters. I hope that you enjoy these designs
and much as I have enjoyed developing them for you. So take some time
out to enjoy quilting and working on one of my patterns. Ignore the
phone, kids, housework etc. and take some time out for yourself and
create. Nothing is more relaxing than a hot cup of coffee and the hum
of a sewing machine in the company of fellow quilters.
have
been quilting for 10 years and designing my own quilts from the very
beginning. Playing with color is my favorite part and I keep my
patterns simple so that I can use the most colorful, elaborate
fabric. Since I am also a custom long-arm quilter, finishing the
whole project myself really feeds into my desire to create. I find
huge joy in giving someone I love this personal bit of self in a
quilt. Now I get to help others tap into their own creativity
through teaching. What fun.
