Hi! My name is Cindy
Tazelaar and I have been sewing for years!
When I was little my mother did the best thing for me (yes I said it, my
mom was right) by sending me to a sewing class. Since then, I haven’t stopped
sewing. In high school, “Ken More” (the
infamous Sears sewing machine) and I spent many long and wonderful weekends
together. After starting in the fashion
area and attempting to clothe my curvaceous body, I switched to quilting. Quilts just fit betterJ
After quilting for a few years, I learned that it took a long time to make a quilt. I enjoy the instant gratification that my purses and bags give me. The more fabric I use, the more fun it is! Many nights I have laid in bed, wide awake, as ideas run through my head about my next bag’s possibilities. I finally thought I should share my ideas with others, so I started my own company, CAT Design. I’ve designed simple patterns which will give you a jumping off point, as well as tips on new techniques that will lead you to create a unique, beautiful bag. My projects will take beginners very little time and experts no time at all!
