Growing up in a family of inventors has given Julie a desire to develop new ideas and methods in her chosen field of quilting. Julie discovered that it was crucial to quilt her blankets in smaller sections before assembling them because she sews inside a small closet in her sewing room. Therefore, the method of assembly taught in Julie’s book Seams Easy, Easier Method to Assemble Your Quilt AFTER You Quilt It, was born.
Author of two books, Seams Easy and Vestmaking Made Easy, and numerous individual patterns, Julie continues to develop interesting projects which she shares with other quilters.
