Kathy
Adams started her long arm quilting business in 2003 with a Gammilll
Classic long arm machine. Since then, she has added a Statler fully computerised machine, upgraded the original Classic to a Statler, and installed a Prodigi twelve needle industrial embroidery machine.
Kathy has quilted over 1,500 quilts for her many satisfied customers, and several have won prizes at major quilt shows and exhibitions.
Kathy is a keen member of Queensland Quilters Inc., Toowoomba Quilters Inc. and the Australian Machine Quilting Association Inc.
In
2008, Kathy's husband Geoff joined the business. This has increased the
capacity of the quilting service and shortened delivery times. Geoff
also helps with the pattern publishing and customer
service. In 2009, Koolkat quilting began publishing a range of quilt patterns, many of which are aimed at helping beginner quilters.
