Lisa Moore is a retired electrical engineer living on beautiful Silver Bay in Sitka, Alaska. The above photo is the view from Lisa’s sewing studio, a constant source of inspiration. She is a member of Ocean Wave Quilt Guild, New Archangel Dancers (a Russian Folk Dance group), Sitka Tree and Landscape Committee, and Alaska Community Forest Council. When not quilting, she loves to go fishing, shrimping, and crabbing with her husband, Dave, and their yellow labs, Copper and Mig.
2007 was a busy year for Lisa. She taught on a Quilt Cruise to Alaska, a retreat in Florida, and several spots around Alaska. She was in The Quilter Magazine three times, and had a booth at the Houston Quilt Festival. Lisa will be teaching on quilt cruises; in August 2008 from Boston to Nova Scotia and in June 2009 in Southeast Alaska.
