Quilt Pattern Designer Service Agreement

Congratulations for joining the best pattern designer-friendly quilt pattern online store.  Please review and agree to the following items.

  1. Commission.  The Quilt Pattern Shoppe (TQPS) will compensate the designer 55% of the net sale price per pattern sold through the TQPS website.  Net sale price is defined as the price at which the pattern was sold excluding sales tax.
  2. Pattern Submission Fees.  The Quilt Pattern Shoppe will charge a one-time fee of $2.00 per pattern to load the pattern on its website if the pattern is already in PDF format.  If the pattern is not in PDF formation, TQPS will scan or convert the pattern to PDF format for a mutually agreed upon hourly rate.  This is a one-time, non-refundable fee due before patterns have been loaded on the website.
  3. TQPS will sell the patterns at a mutually agreed upon retail price.  
  4. The Designer and TQPS have the right to cancel this agreement at any time.  The Designer or TQPS will notify the other party in writing of his or her desire to cancel this agreement.
  5. The Designer will receive a monthly statement detailing items sold.  
  6. TQPS will pay commissions on sales by check within 15 days after the end of the month.
  7. Designer certifies that all patterns supplied to TQPS belong to Designer, and Designer has legal right to sell such patterns.  Designer agrees to hold harmless TQPS of any liability arising from pattern ownership dispute.
