Twin bed quilt - finished size 62½ by 71½ inches. Kit includes 32 page letter size booklet with 26 individual applique aptterns for the alphabet. Aussie ABC is a delightful alphabet quilt featuring Australian fabrics and themes. Ideal as a bed-time story, ending with Zzzz and the Rainbow Serpent of Aboriginal legend. Very easy to make using hand or machine applique techniques. For the Applique blocks: 1-1/4 yards neutral or pastel plain fabric Block Borders and applique fabrics: 10 fat quarters (20x18”) of Australian theme fabrics (I used Aboriginal prints) Setting Triangles: 1 yard light print Outer border: 1-3/4 yards darker print fabric (There will be also enough left over from this to make your quilt binding)
