Bright Flight

This brightly-colored machine appliqué quilt is a great way to use your fabric "stash" or scraps. The layout of colors is reminiscent of a rainbow & uses small quantities of fabric. Contrast is created using similarly colored fabrics with black contrasting thread. This is a great quilt for "fat quarters", The fabrics used_ in this quilt sample were primarily gingham "bandana prints", Purchased bandanas (22"x 22) are a great substitute for fat quarters, and are perfect for this project. The blocks and sashing are rotary cut for quick and easy assembly. Fusible web makes this a quick project. This pattern uses full-sized patterns and has detailed instructions. A coloring page is included so that you can test other fabric & color options for this quilt.
