Carolina Lighthouse Bag

This bag can easily be adapted to your own liking. The lighthouse can be changed to a different lighthouse, or left off entirely. Make a few and see what fun you can have.

Fabrics
1 blue fat quarter or 1/3 yard
1/3 yd beige suede-like fabric
1/4 yd fusible webbing
Scraps for lighthouse

Interfacing
1/4 yd Preprinted fabric with palm trees-or trace my pattern-included
1/3 yard extra stiff stabilizer

Miscellaneous
Glue {I use Real Deal tacky glue - it dries clear and strong}
Assorted seashells, beads or other embellishments
Craft paint for clouds - white, pink, orchid, and yellow
5" narrow black cording for closing
2 handles
1/2 yd 1/4" black ribbon
Fine point black permanent marker
