Emperor Penguin Family

Approximately 16x18 finished. A penguin quilt pattern block which can stand alone or be combined with other blocks in a larger quilt. (The picture of the large quilt contains the Emperor Family and the Penguin Colony pattern.) Scrappy yellow, orange, whites, blacks and grays. Use a medium blue background to make the penguins contrast well. Pattern pieces are lightly fused onto the background then stitched down with a slightly open zigzag.
