• sewing machine with walking foot and size 14 needle
• rotary cutter, mat and quilter’s ruler
(preferably a 6” x 24” ruler or two)
• pins (the large yellow-topped quilting pins work best)
• masking tape or washout marking pencil or pen
• sharp scissors
• chenille slash cutter (optional)
