Floral Fantasy Block of the Month

This full sized quilt (82" x 94") will will create a garden in your bedroom with 8 different flowers on vines. Easy pieced strips in neutrals are in between the flowers. Strip One includes piecing instructions, yardage for the quilt and the first flower which is the bluebell.

Material
4 ¾ yards of cream solid for appliquéd strips
¾ yard of light cream print for Block A
¾ yard of dark tan print for Block A
1/3 yard of medium tan print for Block B (small rectangle)
1/3 yard of medium cream print for Block B (small rectangle)
5/8 yard of dark tan print for Block B (large rectangle)
5/8 yard of light cream print for Block B (large rectangle)
5/8 yard of 8 different greens for each bias vine and leaves
¾ yard for 1st Border
1 yard for 2nd Border
¾ yard for binding
6 yards for backing
1 fat quarter of 8 colors for the flowers (blue, gold, rosy red, violet,
orange, dark pink, dark blue and red)
Scraps for hollyhock stamens, black-eyed susan and rose centers and
butterfly wings and bodies.
8 yards of fusible web transfer
Brown, white and gold embroidery floss (1 skein each)

Cutting:
Cream Solid:
Cut 8 strips for the appliquéd rows that are 6" x 84 ½".

1st Border:
9 strips 2½" wide
2nd Border:
9 strips 3½" wide
Binding:
9 strips 2½" wide
