"Ribbon” bows tie up crayon-colored hearts in a quilt for a newborn or a wall hanging for a child’s room. Or, make it for a special anniversary or a wedding, or because you love hearts! Use as a friendship quilt, too. Ribbon bands are wide enough for a signature, wonderful for a “family tree” or shower gift. Have family members or guests use a permanent pen to sign each of the blocks. Write the baby’s name and birth date in the ribbon band of the large heart. You can add the parents’ names to the bow streamers. The hearts are easy to appliqué. Fusible appliqué is best for the small bows. Multi-colored sashing is strip pieced. Finished Size" 53" square.
