Easy enough to make in an afternoon or evening, they hold dozens of patterns, enabling you to display your pattern "stash" where they can provide instant inspiration without taking up a lot of room.

The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for two sizes or organizers:

  • 20 pocket organizer
    (27" wide by 34" long)
  • 36 pocket organizer
    (27" wide by 58" long)

The organizers are designed to hang on the back of a door, but directions are also included for adding optional D-rings for hanging by hooks or nails.

Quilt store owners and vendors who sell patterns at quilt shows, fairs, and craft shows will appreciate this easy way to display lots of patterns in just over two feet of vertical space.

duck
Pockets 1/2 yard of heavy-weight vinyl 1 yard of heavy-weight vinyl
Binding 3/8 yard coordinating fabric 5/8 yard coordinating fabric

For each organizer, you will also need:
• Thread to match fabrics
• One ½” dowel, about 36” long
• Two over-the-door hooks
• Four 1” D-rings (optional)
