“Sun’s Rays in Winter” - Scarf ePattern
Finished size: Approximately 6” wide x 53” high
A light and breezy, elegant and easy-to-make scarf for spring or summer
(with instructions for a winter version as well). Easy to follow
instructions for sew and flip foundation piecing on paper and muslin.
Perfect for using those beautiful batiks, the gray ones which inspired
the name of the scarf! For beginners to experts. *For a cold weather
scarf, you may want to use flannel, wool, fleece, velvet or Minkee as a
backing material instead of linen to make it luxuriously soft and warm.
All instructions here for piecing and cutting remain the same. If using
Minkee, I strongly recommend using a walking foot when joining front to
back.
